Welcome to my corner of the internet! I am a native Texan and have lived in every big city in Texas! I was diagnosed with Diabetes Mellitus Type 1 when I was 18 months old. So I have lived with this disease that never goes away.

However, I have not let this disease take control over my life. As diabetics, we need to lead a healthy lifestyle and take extra care of our health. I have learned to thrive and am passionate about helping you too!

My passion is food nutrition - I love biological sciences and I was probably the only person in college that didn’t change my major…. ever!
